Calming Anxiety with DBT Skills — LKH Therapy

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT):
A great tool for anxiety and depression, CBT focuses on helping the client identify and challenge unhelpful thought patterns, change unhealthy routines and behaviors, and gain a greater sense of confidence in one’s own ability to manage the stresses of life.

Couples Therapy:
Our therapists work with couples to encourage personal growth for each individual person as well as enhance the amount of communication and find ways to more effectively and respectfully communicate. The therapist will guide the couple in their communication during sessions and find ways to help each partner understand the other more deeply.

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR):
EMDR Therapy is best known for its role in treating post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). It can also be an effective tool for a variety of other mental health challenges. The EMDR therapist will guide you through eye movements that target remembering traumas and processing through them. The goal is to change the emotions, thoughts, and behaviors that result from a distressing experience (trauma).

Medication Management Referrals

While we do not provide medication management in-house, we support clients in navigating referrals when medication may be part of their care. Based on your needs and level of care, we can help connect you with trusted psychiatrists, community mental health programs, or inpatient services when appropriate. Our goal is to ensure continuity of care so your therapeutic work is well supported beyond our office.
